Business Development Manager – Financial Services (Canterbury)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Business Development Manager to join a leading financial services firm in South East Kent. The role has been created to support strong growth and will focus on acquiring new clients and building lasting partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach prospective B2B clients in the financial and professional services sectors.
• Develop initial relationships and nurture them into long‑term partnerships.
• Collaborate closely with the partner team to align new opportunities with company objectives.
• Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records of activities and progress in the CRM system.
• Track and report on sales pipelines and performance metrics.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business‑to‑business sales or business development, preferably within financial or professional services.
• Confidence engaging senior decision‑makers and a results‑driven mindset.
• Ability to bring fresh ideas and energy to client development strategies.
