Business Development Manager – Garage Equipment & Diagnostics (South Region)

About the role

Join a respected automotive technology business as a Business Development Manager focused on garage equipment and diagnostics across the South region. You will be responsible for driving new revenue by showcasing advanced diagnostic tools and workshop equipment to independent aftermarket workshops and bodyshops.

Key responsibilities

• Demonstrate diagnostics and workshop equipment to workshops and bodyshops across the assigned territory.
• Generate new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and relationship building.
• Follow up leads provided by distributors and existing customers and convert demonstrations into sales.
• Build strong relationships with workshop owners, technicians and decision‑makers.
• Provide training and after‑sales support to maximise product adoption.
• Identify market opportunities and monitor competitor activity to support growth.
• Collaborate closely with distributors and internal teams to optimise territory performance.

Required profile

• Commercially driven and self‑motivated with a passion for field‑based sales.
• Comfortable managing a large, varied territory and working independently.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build lasting relationships.
• Technical curiosity and willingness to learn advanced automotive diagnostics.
