Business Development Manager

About the role

You will take ownership of an established, high‑performing recruitment desk, inheriting a loyal client base and strong market reputation. The role focuses on expanding the portfolio, building new relationships and delivering exceptional service to both clients and candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and grow relationships with existing loyal clients.
• Identify, pursue and win new business opportunities across the market.
• Develop a proactive, structured approach to expand the client base.
• Generate leads through warm contacts, referrals and targeted outreach.
• Collaborate closely with candidates and clients to provide a premium recruitment experience.

Required profile

• Commercially driven with a passion for relationship building.
• Proven track record in recruitment, business development or consultative sales.
• Experience in a service‑led industry (sales backgrounds also considered).
• Excellent communication skills and a resilient, target‑focused mindset.
• Aspiration to grow within a fast‑moving independent business.
