Store Apprentice – Part‑time Retail Role

About the role

Join Toolstation in Farnham as a Store Apprentice, working 20 hours per week. You will earn while you learn, gaining hands‑on experience in customer service, product knowledge, merchandising and store operations.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with customers, understand their needs and provide excellent service.
• Assist with store operations: handle deliveries, stock shelves and support warehouse tasks.
• Maintain a clean, well‑organised store and ensure safety for colleagues and customers.
• Allocate weekly time for apprenticeship coursework, supported by a Store Manager and apprenticeship coach.

Required profile

• A positive, friendly attitude with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
• Reliability and flexibility to adapt to varied tasks and store opening hours (7 am‑8 pm).
• Energy and enthusiasm; no prior retail experience required.

Required skills

• Basic numeracy and literacy for handling transactions and coursework.
