Business Development Manager – Model Portfolio Service (MPS)

About the role

Fundhouse is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to grow its Model Portfolio Service (MPS). Reporting to the Head of Business Development, you will be the primary contact for new and existing clients, delivering a high‑touch, industry‑leading service while travelling to meet clients and host events.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and reach out to potential clients, respond to inbound leads, arrange introductions and host meetings.
• Collaborate on or lead business‑development webinars and regional events.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Fundhouse’s services, investment solutions and market views.
• Host virtual and in‑person meetings, supported by the Investment Management team as needed.
• Demonstrate market knowledge and an understanding of asset allocation, fund research and portfolio construction.
• Prepare and update presentation decks, RFPs, brochures, proposals and articles tailored to client needs.
• Participate in project‑based initiatives and internal MPS forums focused on enhancing client experience.
• Focus on problem‑solving and delivering practical solutions.

Required profile

• Prior experience working with financial advisers and MPS clients.
• Experience in relationship management, prospecting and service delivery.
• Ability to understand markets and portfolios with a keen interest in current market developments.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, proactive mindset and confidence engaging a diverse client base.
• Client‑focused, ambitious, able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Alignment with Fundhouse’s brand values and a desire to positively impact clients.
• Attention to detail and ability to articulate investment views clearly.
