Business Development Manager, Professional Visual Solutions (DACH)

About the role

Optoma Europe Ltd, part of the Optoma Group, is looking for a DACH Business Development Manager for its Professional Visual Solutions business. Reporting to the Territory Manager, the role combines strategic business development, channel management and team leadership to grow Optoma's position in the DACH region across projection, LED and advanced visual solutions. The company is based in Hemel Hempstead, UK.

Key responsibilities

• Define annual growth plans, investment priorities and market strategies with the Territory Manager, and build a growth strategy for the DACH market aligned with EMEA objectives.
• Develop new revenue opportunities in corporate, government, higher education, museum, rental and staging, experience centres and simulation, and build a sustainable pipeline of new business.
• Lead, coach and grow the sales team to meet revenue margin and market share targets, and own forecasting, pipeline management and performance reviews.
• Recruit, expand and manage professional AV integrators and consultants, and strengthen relationships with strategic accounts, industry influencers and senior partner stakeholders.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs and competitor activity, feed insights back to product management and leadership, and represent Optoma at exhibitions and trade shows.

Required profile

• Proven leadership in sales and business development within professional AV, display technology or a related industry.
• Demonstrated experience delivering sales growth and developing new markets, and leadership experience including coaching teams.
• Strong understanding of the DACH Professional AV market.
• Fluent German and English.
• Preferred: experience selling projection and LED technologies, experience in multinational technology organisations, and an existing network in the DACH Pro AV industry.
