Business Development Team Manager

About the role

Goodlord is building the gold‑standard platform for renting and needs an SDR Lead to create its Sales Development function from scratch. Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will design the strategy, select tools and hire an early‑careers team that will become the future commercial talent at Goodlord.

Key responsibilities

• Architect the SDR strategy, playbook, processes and team structure.
• Experiment with tooling, automation and AI to generate smarter conversations and more pipeline.
• Balance outbound motions across Enterprise and Mid‑Market segments.
• Coach, mentor and develop inexperienced hires into high‑performing SDRs.

Required profile

• Proven track record of managing, mentoring and developing early‑career sales talent.
• Significant B2B SaaS SDR experience, preferably as a Team Lead or Senior SDR.
• Comfort with ambiguity and a builder mindset to create order where none exists.
• Hands‑on leader who demonstrates best practice rather than managing from the sidelines.

Required skills

• Salesforce or HubSpot CRM expertise.
• Experience with outreach platforms such as Outreach or Salesloft.
• Enthusiasm for AI‑driven sales automation tools.
