Buyer 3 – Procurement Specialist (High Wycombe)

About the role

The Buyer 3 position is a tactical procurement role based in High Wycombe, responsible for executing purchase transactions and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services across the Europe North Area. You will work closely with internal requesters and external suppliers to support day‑to‑day purchasing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Create, review and process purchase orders accurately, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Monitor open orders, follow up on confirmations, and resolve any discrepancies.
• Act as the primary contact for internal requesters, providing guidance on procurement processes.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships, collect performance feedback and address routine issues.
• Execute routine sourcing activities, obtain quotes, negotiate terms and conduct basic market analysis.
• Ensure all purchasing actions adhere to ethical standards, regulatory requirements and proper documentation.
• Support short‑term projects aimed at improving procurement efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4 years of purchasing or procurement experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting.
• Familiarity with procurement tools and sourcing processes.
