About the role
This permanent position supports a leading food equipment manufacturing business, offering a structured development path through extensive shadowing and on‑the‑job training. You will join a collaborative procurement team focused on sourcing high‑quality materials and driving cost efficiencies.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee procurement, negotiation and sourcing of materials.
- Utilise ERP/MRP systems and dedicated procurement software.
- Work cross‑functionally with engineering, production and quality teams.
- Manage supplier relationships and conduct negotiations.
Required profile
- Background in procurement or buying.
- Computer literate and comfortable with ERP/MRP tools.
- Able to commute to Great Gransden, Cambridge.
Required skills
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
- Proficiency in procurement software.
- Strong negotiation and supplier management abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication.
What we offer
- Salary of £42,000 per year.
