Buyer – Product Sourcing & Supplier Management

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Buyer to join a fast‑moving team in St. Albans. Working closely with the Buying Manager, you will help shape product ranges, manage supplier relationships and ensure timely delivery of new items.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and onboard new vendors and products aligned with business strategy.
• Maintain sourcing sheets, critical paths and ensure deadlines are met.
• Develop samples, coordinate product photography and support packaging development.
• Manage lab dips, bulk approvals and provide timely feedback to internal teams.
• Keep fabric and swatch libraries up‑to‑date, sourcing sustainable materials where possible.
• Communicate updates across internal teams and senior management.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Buyer or in product development, preferably within clothing or textiles.
• Strong technical fabric knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Proactive, adaptable and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
