About the role
The Buying Admin Assistant supports the Junior Buyer and Product Developer in delivering bespoke products for Soho Home. Working within the Buying & Product Development department, you will help keep projects on schedule and ensure all administrative processes run smoothly.
Key responsibilities
- Provide administrative support across the buying and product development lifecycle.
- Maintain critical‑path calendars, seasonal development trackers and internal product data.
- Prepare trade documentation, competitive analysis reports and meeting materials.
- Coordinate prototype and finalisation meetings, including showroom set‑up and sample logistics.
- Manage sample requests, shipments, labeling and SKU creation, liaising with suppliers.
- Update product specification sheets on internal platforms and support customer service queries.
- Facilitate sample hand‑over to the Creative team for photography.
Required profile
- Excellent written and verbal communication with strong interpersonal skills.
- Collaborative, creative problem‑solver who can challenge and improve processes.
- Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail.
- Results‑oriented, able to manage time effectively and stay calm under pressure.
- Adaptable to a fast‑changing environment and evolving market demands.
