Cabins Production Operative – Full‑time Production Role

About the role

You will join the Woodlands team to manufacture components for log cabins in a fast‑paced production environment. Working on the Thornbury site, you will help ensure every cabin meets the company’s high quality standards while collaborating with a dedicated crew.

Key responsibilities

• Manufacture and assemble log cabin components using saws, nail guns, notching machines and handheld tools.
• Follow production plans, drawings and schedules to achieve accurate output.
• Prepare and fit glazing, doors and ironmongery.
• Pick, pack and label finished products for dispatch.
• Operate pallet trucks and forklift trucks (FLTs) where trained.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe work area and comply with health‑and‑safety procedures.

Required profile

• Willingness to work the specified Monday‑to‑Friday shifts.
• Commitment to follow health and safety guidelines and use PPE correctly.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Use of saws.
• Operation of nail guns.
• Experience with notching machines.
• Proficiency with handheld tools.
• Operation of pallet trucks.
• Operation of forklift trucks (FLTs) where trained.
