About the role
We are seeking a permanent Cable Assembler to join our team in Poole. The role involves basic cable assembly tasks and offers a competitive salary based on relevant experience. You will work on a regular schedule, Monday to Thursday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm and a shorter Friday ending at 1:45 pm.
Key responsibilities
- Strip cables to prepare them for further processing.
- Pre‑prepare cables for assembly, ensuring correct length and condition.
- Perform crimping operations to secure connectors.
- Carry out basic soldering to finalize cable connections.
Required profile
- Minimum of 6 months hands‑on experience with cable stripping, prepping, crimping or basic soldering.
- Reliability and ability to follow safety and quality standards.
- Willingness to complete a 12‑week probationary period.
