Cafe Assistant – Food Prep & Cooking

About the role
We are a busy café open seven days a week, serving a popular small menu. We are looking for a Café Assistant with solid chef, kitchen, food‑prep and cooking experience to help keep the service running smoothly.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to our standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area throughout the shift.
- Support the team during peak periods, ensuring timely service.
- Assist with stock checks and basic inventory tasks as needed.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a kitchen or café environment.
- Ability to stay organised and efficient under pressure.
- Calm demeanor when the café is busy.
