About the role
We are a busy café operating seven days a week in Preston. We are looking for a reliable Café Assistant with solid kitchen and food‑preparation experience to help deliver a popular, small‑menu offering.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to our standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, especially during peak periods.
- Support other team members as needed, stepping in when additional help is limited.
- Ensure food safety and hygiene practices are consistently followed.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a kitchen, chef, or food‑prep role.
- Ability to stay calm and efficient under pressure.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
