Call Centre Agent – Customer Support

About the role

Wescot Credit Services is looking for enthusiastic Call Centre Agents to join its First Direct team in Glasgow. Starting on 27 July 2026, you will provide compassionate inbound and outbound support to customers facing financial challenges, helping them find affordable repayment solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver 5‑star customer service as the first point of contact.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls, guiding customers through repayment options.
• Accurately record interactions across multiple internal systems.
• Conduct detailed affordability assessments before setting up payment plans.
• Create tailored repayment plans to help customers get back on track.
• Identify vulnerable customers and ensure appropriate support.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices.

Required profile

• Strong empathy and resilience when dealing with customers in financial difficulty.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
• Ability to work a 4‑week rotational shift pattern, including 1 in 4 Saturdays.
• Willingness to complete a 4‑week training programme.

• Starting salary £26,436.80 progressing to £27,528.22 (40 hrs/week).
