About the role
We are looking for a proactive, people‑focused Call Centre Assistant to join our retail team. You will be the first point of contact for patients seeking optical care, delivering friendly and professional service over the phone and supporting a welcoming store environment.
Key responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls and respond to customer enquiries with clear, courteous communication.
- Assist customers in booking appointments and provide information about optical products and services.
- Maintain a tidy and organised store environment to ensure a positive experience for both customers and colleagues.
- Handle customer concerns calmly and efficiently, escalating issues when necessary.
Required profile
- Enthusiastic and proactive attitude with a passion for retail and customer service.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Empathetic approach to customer concerns and a commitment to delivering the best care.

What we offer
- Up to 24 hours per week on a 3‑day alternating weekend schedule.
- Hourly rate up to £12.91.
