Canteen Assistant – 25 Hours per week

About the role

Join Ryman’s catering team as a Canteen Assistant, working 25 hours per week to support food preparation and service for colleagues and customers. You will help create a welcoming environment in the crew(e) room while maintaining high standards of hygiene and friendliness.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare sandwiches, salads and other ready‑to‑eat items.
• Serve customers and colleagues at the hot counter.
• Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately.
• Keep the kitchen and service area clean throughout the shift.
• Provide friendly, courteous service to Ryman staff and visitors.

Required profile

• A willingness to learn and grow within the business.
• Motivated, collaborative attitude and a positive approach to teamwork.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.
• Experience is not essential – training will be provided.
