Capital Plant Sales Manager – South Region

About the role

This position is a field‑based, senior sales role responsible for selling high‑value capital plant and equipment to engineering and manufacturing customers across the South of England. You will develop new business, manage key accounts and deliver technical solutions throughout the defined territory.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new customers while expanding existing accounts in the Southern region.
• Manage the full sales cycle for capital plant and equipment solutions, from quotation to contract signing.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with customers and distribution partners.
• Spot market opportunities and drive sales growth.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and commercial presentations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored customer solutions.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline in the CRM system.

Required profile

• Proven success in a technical field‑sales role.
• Experience selling capital plant or capital equipment to engineering or manufacturing clients.
• Strong background in engineering or manufacturing industries.
• Ability to manage long sales cycles and high‑value projects.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Self‑motivated and capable of independently covering a large territory.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a CRM system.
