Carbon Sustainability Consultant

About the role

We are an established environmental consultancy in Bristol looking for an experienced Carbon Consultant to join our growing team. You will work with a diverse client base, delivering expert advice on carbon management, compliance and decarbonisation strategies while developing your skills across broader sustainability and energy consultancy.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Greenhouse Gas (GHG) reporting for a range of clients.
• Support ESOS compliance projects and advise on carbon reduction planning.
• Manage carbon credit and emissions reporting requirements, including ETS compliance where needed.
• Produce detailed technical reports and present actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with sustainability and energy consultants on multidisciplinary projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience in GHG reporting and carbon accounting.
• Strong understanding of ESOS assessments and compliance processes.
• Familiarity with ETS compliance and carbon credit mechanisms.
• Excellent analytical and communication abilities.
• Background in building services or environmental consultancy is highly desirable.
