About the role
We are seeking an experienced Care Coordinator to join our live‑in care team in Ringwood. Working closely with the Registered Manager, you will ensure safe, high‑quality, person‑centred care for our clients while supporting service growth. The role combines care coordination, staff support, recruitment and business development.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee care delivery for a portfolio of live‑in care clients, including assessments, reviews and care plan updates.
- Maintain relationships with clients, families and care staff, acting as the main point of contact.
- Manage care schedules, rotas and daily operational requirements, and participate in an alternate‑weekend on‑call rota.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, inductions, training and probation reviews for new carers.
- Build relationships with healthcare professionals and community organisations to promote services and generate new placements.
- Maintain accurate care and HR records, produce management reports and use scheduling and Microsoft Office systems effectively.
Required profile
- Level 3 NVQ in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
- Minimum two years’ experience in care scheduling or rota management.
- At least two years’ experience in a client‑facing role within the care sector.
- Strong organisational, communication and confidentiality handling abilities.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
