Care Home Cleaner – Part‑time (Temporary)

About the role
We are looking for a reliable Care Home Cleaner to join a range of care homes in the Halton area on a part‑time, temporary basis. The role involves maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents and staff.
Key responsibilities
- Dusting and sweeping communal and private areas
- Buffing floors and maintaining a tidy appearance
- Cleaning toilets and bathroom facilities
- Performing any other reasonable cleaning duties as required
- Adapting to short‑notice shift changes and flexible working patterns
Required profile
- Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
- Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check (cost payable by the applicant)
- Ability to complete mandatory training in Food Hygiene, Safeguarding and KCSIE
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, often at short notice
