Cargo Operations Coordinator

About the role

Formula 1 is seeking a Cargo Operations Coordinator to join its Freight team. Reporting to the Cargo Operations Manager, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating the worldwide transportation of F1 equipment, ensuring compliance with regulations and supporting the sport’s global logistics network.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate worldwide transportation and distribution of F1 equipment in line with regulations and company policies.
• Prepare and manage shipping documentation and customs declarations accurately and efficiently.
• Plan and manage aircraft loads for air charter logistics operations.
• Support the chartering of aircraft to facilitate air charter operations.
• Liaise with logistics partners, service providers, and regulatory authorities, maintaining strong professional relationships.
• Ensure compliance with the Known Consignor security programme and internal security policies.
• Contribute to freight and sustainability reporting, logistics planning, and budget preparation.
• Monitor work progress and provide regular updates to the Cargo Operations Manager.

Required skills

• Current UK driving licence (required).
• Dangerous Goods Awareness and certification for air transport (preferred).
