Carpenter – Multi Trades

About the role

We are looking for an experienced carpenter who can handle a wide range of repairs and maintenance tasks in customers' homes. You will deliver high‑quality workmanship while providing friendly, professional service.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out multi‑trade repairs with a primary focus on carpentry, including doors, frames, skirting, architraves, flooring, kitchen units, worktops and minor wall repairs.
• Perform associated tasks such as patch plastering, sealing, decorating touch‑ups, minor tiling and basic plumbing‑related repairs.
• Work independently to manage your own workload and collaborate with other trades on complex projects.
• Record work completed, materials used and update progress through work orders and reporting systems.

Required profile

• Solid experience in carpentry and ability to undertake general maintenance and multi‑trade repairs.
• Confident use of hand and power tools and ability to work independently.
• Good communication skills, customer‑friendly attitude and physical fitness for hands‑on work.
• Full, valid UK driving licence (preferred). Experience in social housing is a bonus.
