Carton Operator (12‑hr rotating shifts)

About the role

The Carton Operator ensures cartons are assembled to customer specifications on a 12‑hour rotating shift pattern, supporting the packaging department’s production targets.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the carton machine and load flat‑pack cartons.
• Adjust machine settings to meet specified carton dimensions.
• Perform basic maintenance and keep the work area clean.
• Complete thorough handovers to the next shift.
• Follow health, safety, environmental and GMP standards.
• Report deviations, escalations and production issues promptly.
• Carry out sanitation duties, including shutdown procedures.
• Provide on‑the‑job guidance and support to colleagues.

Required profile

• Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent).
• Lamb Weston chemical, health & safety, GMP and PPPT training.
• 2–3 years of manufacturing experience.
