Cash In Transit Officer – Warrington

About the role

The Cash In Transit Officer is responsible for the safe and secure movement of cash between locations, supporting ATM servicing and cash deployment. Working either solo or with a partner, you will combine driving and courier duties to ensure reliable cash logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Transport cash securely to and from ATM machines and other sites.
• Operate as a driver or courier depending on the shift assignment.
• Complete all required documentation and follow company processes.
• Drive and park company vehicles in compliance with the Highway Code and health‑and‑safety policies.
• Maintain effective communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Continuous 10‑year traceable employment and education history.
• Valid full UK driving licence (maximum six penalty points).
• Valid CVIT SIA licence (or willingness to obtain one through funded training).
• Ability to work 45 hours per week across four days, including weekends on a rota basis.
• Clear communication and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Conscientious driving with full adherence to the Highway Code.
• Ability to follow detailed operational instructions.
