About the role
Join the events team at Jumeirah Carlton Tower as a Casual Conference and Events Waiter/Waitress. You will provide attentive, courteous service to guests attending live conferences and events in a luxury hotel setting.
Key responsibilities
- Log and process guests quickly and courteously during live events.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and professionally.
- Maintain knowledge of meeting and event service expectations.
- Communicate guest comments and unresolved issues to supervisors.
- Apply relevant legislation, including liquor licensing requirements.
- Control and safeguard keys while in possession.
Required profile
- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or high‑end hospitality environment.
- High level of accuracy and attention to luxury standards.
- Flexibility to undertake reasonable additional duties and redeployment as needed.
- Ability to assist in maximising departmental productivity.
Required skills
- Good knowledge of meeting and events (M&E) operations.
- Familiarity with liquor licensing legislation.
