About the role

Join the team at Copthorne Hotel Newcastle as a Casual Food & Beverage Assistant. You will support the bar, restaurant and function areas, delivering friendly and efficient service to our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food and beverage products across the bar, restaurant and function spaces.
• Explain menu items and product details to customers.
• Process payment transactions (cash, card, room charge) in line with company guidelines.
• Provide a warm, welcoming service and address guest queries promptly.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a food & beverage role.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work under pressure as part of a team while maintaining professionalism.
• Experience handling payments; familiarity with Micros POS is a plus.
• Flexibility to cover various shifts, including festive season weekends and party events.
