Casual Food & Beverage Assistant – London

About the role

Join the hospitality team at Copthorne Tara Hotel in Kensington as a Food & Beverage Assistant. You will work across the hotel’s restaurants, bar and event spaces, delivering friendly service to a diverse guest base in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide courteous, professional service to guests in all food and beverage outlets.
• Take and deliver food and drink orders accurately, adhering to company standards.
• Support conferences, banquets and special events, including set‑up and service.
• Promote menu items and upsell where appropriate.
• Maintain cleanliness, presentation and hygiene of service areas and mise‑en‑place.
• Handle payments and operate POS systems.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the hotel to ensure a seamless guest journey.

Required profile

• Positive, approachable attitude with a passion for customer service.
• Comfortable working in a busy, team‑oriented environment.
• Reliable, flexible and willing to learn.
• Available for varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Previous hospitality experience is helpful but not essential – full training provided.
