Casual Hotel Receptionist – Newcastle

About the role

Join the Copthorne Hotel Newcastle team as a Casual Receptionist, the first and last point of contact for our guests. You will deliver a warm, professional welcome and ensure a seamless experience from check‑in to check‑out.

Key responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service throughout the stay, handling check‑in and check‑out procedures.
• Manage guest requests promptly, politely and with a caring attitude.
• Maintain accurate records using standard PC systems.
• Work a rotating schedule, including weekends, with typical shifts of 07:00‑15:30 or 14:30‑23:00.

Required profile

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong command of English.
• Previous experience as a hotel receptionist or a strong willingness to learn.
• Friendly, positive attitude and passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
• Flexibility to work on a rota basis, including weekends.

Required skills

• Proficiency with standard PC systems.
