Casual Room Attendant – Housekeeping

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Casual Room Attendant to join the Housekeeping team at the Sheraton Grand London Park Lane Hotel. In this part‑time role you will help ensure guest rooms and public areas are clean, safe and welcoming, supporting the hotel’s high standards of service.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to guest and department requests, delivering items and setting up furniture as needed.
• Identify and report maintenance or safety issues in rooms and public areas.
• Remove used linens, trash, and service trays; transport them to service areas.
• Clean, maintain and store housekeeping equipment and carts.
• Post caution signs and coordinate urgent repairs with the appropriate departments.
• Follow all company safety, security and confidentiality policies.
• Maintain a professional uniform and appearance at all times.

Required profile

• Ability to lift, carry and move objects up to 55 lb unaided and heavier items with assistance.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, kneel and bend for extended periods.
• Clear, professional communication skills and a courteous attitude toward guests.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a willingness to support colleagues to achieve common goals.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
