About the role

We are seeking a motivated Casualty & Public Liability Claims Technician to join our Liability team in Chelmsford. You will investigate personal injury and third‑party property damage claims, ensuring compliance with client standards and delivering exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and assess liability claims for personal injury (EL/PL) and property damage.
• Gather and analyse evidence to support legal and policy liability decisions.
• Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for claim settlement.
• Coordinate technical support for field Liability Adjusters.
• Ensure all actions comply with client requirements and service standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in casualty or liability claims handling.
• Strong technical knowledge of claim investigation and settlement processes.
• Commitment to high‑quality service delivery and innovation.
• Ability to work independently while supporting adjusters.
