Caterlink is seeking a Catering Assistant to join the team at St Francis of Assisi School in Birmingham. This term‑time only position offers flexible weekday hours and no weekend work, making it ideal for those looking for a part‑time role in a school environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of tasty food and snacks for pupils and staff.
• Follow Caterlink Health and Safety and Food Safety standards and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and tidy kitchen, counter, and restaurant areas.
• Provide a friendly, efficient, and hygienic service to all customers.
• Represent Caterlink and uphold a positive brand image.

Required profile

• Available to work Monday‑Friday during school term (approximately 39 weeks per year).
• Willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults.
