Charity Fundraiser – Face-to-Face Role

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Charity Fundraiser to join Charity Link’s team supporting Cats Protection. Working at pre‑booked venues such as supermarkets and shopping centres, you will engage the public, raise awareness of feline welfare and secure monthly donations.

Key responsibilities

• Approach visitors at designated venues and start genuine conversations about Cats Protection.
• Explain the impact of monthly giving and sign up new donors.
• Meet or exceed daily and weekly fundraising targets.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and donations using the company’s systems.
• Represent the charity professionally, adhering to health and safety guidelines.

Required profile

• Positive attitude with excellent verbal communication.
• Confidence in speaking to strangers and building quick rapport.
• Resilient, reliable and target‑driven.
• Passion for animal welfare.
• Previous fundraising or sales experience is a plus but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Ability to use basic handheld devices for data entry.
