Chef – Care Home (Zero‑Hour Contract)

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Chef to join our luxury care home in Lennoxtown, delivering nutritious and enjoyable meals for 96 residents. The role offers a zero‑hour contract with a consistent, balanced working pattern and no late evenings or split shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high‑quality meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences.
• Maintain strict standards of hygiene, food safety, and presentation.
• Contribute to menu planning and kitchen organisation.
• Support day‑to‑day service and ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Required profile

• City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or equivalent, or working towards a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Experience in a professional kitchen environment.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Positive, reliable approach.
