Chef de Partie – Seafood Restaurant

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at Rick Stein Restaurants’ flagship Seafood Restaurant in Padstow. You will work with fresh, high‑quality seafood, ensuring dishes are prepared to the brand’s exacting standards while supporting a smooth service.

Key responsibilities

• Run your designated section efficiently throughout service.
• Prepare and cook dishes to specification, maintaining brand standards.
• Work with premium seafood and other fresh ingredients.
• Mentor and support Commis Chefs and junior team members.
• Uphold food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Assist with stock control, ordering and waste minimisation.
• Collaborate closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to ensure seamless operations.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or a strong Demi Chef ready to step up.
• Passion for food with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure in a busy kitchen.
• Organisational pride in your section.
• Positive, reliable team player with a strong work ethic.

• Seafood preparation and cooking techniques.
• Adherence to food safety and hygiene best practices.
• Section management and plating consistency.
• Stock control, ordering and waste reduction.
