Claims Training Coach – Academy Trainer

About the role

ARAG UK is seeking a Claims Training Coach to join its Bristol or Bedwas office. You will lead an academy‑style programme that develops new and existing claims handlers, ensuring they have the knowledge, practical experience and behavioural skills to deliver excellent customer outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver structured training modules covering claims handling, systems, processes, customer communication and regulatory compliance.
• Facilitate engaging classroom and virtual learning sessions.
• Support onboarding of new joiners through the Claims Academy programme.
• Provide one‑to‑one and group coaching to build confidence and capability.
• Observe live and simulated claims interactions and give clear, constructive feedback.
• Identify learning gaps and tailor coaching to individual needs.
• Share real‑world insights and best practice from your claims handling experience.
• Promote best‑in‑class claims handling behaviours aligned to company standards and FCA requirements.
• Collaborate with the Training Team Lead to refine academy content and ensure consistency.
• Gather feedback from learners and stakeholders to continuously improve the training experience.

Required profile

• Demonstrable experience in coaching, mentoring or training delivery with strong communication and facilitation skills.
• Passion for developing people and enabling success.
• Excellent organisational abilities to manage multiple learners and priorities.
• Background in financial services or insurance, particularly in an operational environment, is desirable.
