Class 1 Driver – Flexible Start Times

About the role

We are seeking a Class 1 Driver to join our client’s 24/7 operation in Didcot. The role offers flexible start times between 12:00 and 16:00 and involves transporting goods across multiple locations while maintaining strict delivery schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Transport goods between different sites, ensuring efficient and timely deliveries.
• Safely operate a Class 1 vehicle for trunking operations in line with company policies.
• Carry out pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections and report any issues.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including mileage, fuel consumption and delivery details.
• Coordinate with the transportation team and other drivers to optimise trunking operations.

Required profile

• Minimum of 6 months holding a full C+E licence.
• No more than 6 penalty points on the driving licence.
• Availability to work both weekdays and weekends.
• Full UK driving licence, valid CPC card and digital tachograph card.

What we offer

• Pay rate of £20‑£23 per hour, with higher overtime rates after 45 hours.
