Class 1 Driver

About the role

Join Booker’s Fareham Distribution Centre as a Class 1 Driver. You will work a 45‑hour week on a rotating shift pattern, including occasional weekends, delivering stock to independent retailers across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Safely deliver stock to multiple retailer locations each day.
• Complete multi‑drop deliveries, handling varying volumes.
• Accurately finish all required paperwork after each delivery.
• Perform pre‑trip vehicle checks to ensure the vehicle is road‑worthy.

Required profile

• Valid Class 1 driving licence.
• Ability to work 45 hours per week on flexible shift patterns.
• Physical capability for manual handling and handballing goods.
• Willingness to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Pass a pre‑employment drug and alcohol test.

Required skills

• Class 1 driving licence.
• Competence in handballing and basic vehicle inspections.
