Class 1 Driver – Night Shifts

About the role

Gregory Distribution Group is seeking experienced Class 1 drivers for night shifts based at Cribbs Causeway, Bristol. You will join a supportive logistics team delivering goods to retail locations across the South West.

Key responsibilities

• Operate curtain‑side, box, refrigerated, single‑deck and double‑deck trailers to transport goods.
• Load, secure and protect cargo using straps, nets and other securing devices.
• Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks via company mobile device.
• Maintain regular communication with the transport team and provide progress updates.
• Participate in ongoing training and industry‑standard courses.

Required profile

• Valid UK Class 1 CE licence.
• Current DCPC card and Digital Tachograph driver card.
• Experience delivering loads directly to client sites (advantageous).
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good geographical knowledge of the South West region.

• Competitive salary of £40,380 per year plus £2.75 per hour for night hours (21:00‑04:00).
