Class 1 Driver – Regional Delivery

About the role

AFI‑Rentals is seeking a Class 1 Driver to provide regional driver cover across the South West, operating from multiple depots and supporting the company’s powered‑access rental business.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and collect equipment on multi‑drop routes throughout the South West region.
• Load and unload vehicles safely, ensuring correct handling of powered‑access machinery.
• Maintain a professional, customer‑focused service while representing the company at client sites.
• Work away from the home base on a regular basis, covering Monday‑Friday shifts with additional night‑out allowances as required.
• Adhere to health‑and‑safety standards and company policies, including accurate record‑keeping and timekeeping.

Required profile

• Valid Class 1 driving licence.
• Driver CPC qualification.
• Experience of multi‑drop delivery and collections.
• Outgoing, enthusiastic attitude with strong communication skills.
• Reliability, good time‑keeping and the ability to work independently.
• CSCS card is advantageous but not essential.
