Class 1 Night Driver – 4 on 4 off nights

About the role

Gregory Distribution Ltd is seeking a reliable Class 1 Night Driver to join its Bristol team on a 4‑on‑4‑off night rota. You will operate a variety of curtain‑side, box, refrigerated and double‑deck trailers, delivering goods to retail locations across the region while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Operate curtain‑side, box, refrigerated, single and double‑deck trailers to transport goods.
• Secure loads using straps, nets and other devices to prevent shifting or damage.
• Complete comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks via company phone.
• Communicate regularly with the transport team to provide progress updates.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with industry standards.

Required profile

• Valid UK Class 1 CE licence.
• Current DCPC card and digital tachograph driver card.
• Experience delivering loads directly to client sites (advantageous).
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good geographical knowledge of the South West region.
• Fit, flexible, hardworking and self‑motivated.

Required skills

• Class 1 CE driving licence.
• DCPC certification.
• Digital tachograph operation.
