About the role
We are seeking a reliable Class 1 Night Driver to join a respected client in Colchester. The role involves operating heavy‑goods vehicles during night hours, delivering goods efficiently and safely. The position starts as soon as possible and offers the potential to move from temporary to permanent employment.
Key responsibilities
- Operate Class 1 vehicles on night shifts (18:00‑02:00) Monday‑Friday.
- Deliver goods to customers while meeting strict deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records using a Digi‑Tacho card.
- Uphold safety standards and company policies at all times.
Required profile
- Minimum 1 year of Class 1 night‑driving experience.
- Valid CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) and Digi‑Tacho card.
- Current Class 1 driving licence.
- Good level of spoken English for customer communication.
