About the role
A leading utility company with depots across the Southwest is recruiting a Class 1 Tanker Driver through 24-7 Staffing. This is a full-time, permanent role based in Avonmouth, Bristol, working a 4 on 4 off pattern of 12-hour shifts (days 6am-6pm, nights 6pm-6am) including weekends and nights.
Key responsibilities
- Transport sludge between various sites across the Southwest
- Operate Class 1 vehicles safely and in line with regulations
- Complete pre- and post-vehicle checks
- Follow all health and safety procedures (lone working)
Required profile
- Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
- Driver CPC and tachograph card
- Tanker driving experience preferred, though not essential as full training is provided
- Ability to work days, nights and weekends on a 4 on 4 off schedule
- Strong reliability and timekeeping
