Class 2 Driver – Food Wholesale Deliveries (High Wycombe)

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Class 2 driver to join a well‑established food wholesaler in High Wycombe. The role involves day‑time, customer‑facing deliveries of food items to catering businesses, Monday to Friday, with no weekend work.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver food products to catering customers across the South East.
• Check goods with customers upon delivery and handle cash or cheque payments.
• Load and unload the vehicle, supported by a driver’s mate.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service at each stop.

Required profile

• Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) licence (maximum 6 points).
• CPC qualification and digital tachograph card.
• Previous experience driving a Class 2 vehicle.
• Reliable, hard‑working and customer‑focused attitude.
• Comfortable with manual handling and interacting with customers.

What we offer

• Pay £17 per hour (PAYE) with overtime at £25 per hour after 8 hours.
• Alternative rate of £19 per hour inclusive of holiday pay.
• Monday‑Friday schedule, approx. 10 am–6 pm.
• Weekly pay and nearby parking.
• Support from a driver’s mate for deliveries.
