Class 2 Driver – PM Shifts (Portsmouth)

About the role

Join Veolia’s growing UK fleet as a Class 2 Driver on PM shifts, delivering essential waste collection services across Portsmouth. You will work Monday‑Friday evenings, contributing to a cleaner community while enjoying a competitive OTE package.

Key responsibilities

• Drive to scheduled collection points and empty multiple waste containers.
• Lift and handle bins of all sizes safely.
• Perform daily vehicle checks according to the driver operator handbook.
• Enter route and collection data into the onboard system and submit paperwork each day.
• Comply with all traffic regulations, load security, and weight limits.
• Maintain a clean carriageway, cleaning any spillages promptly.

Required profile

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Current CPC/Digi card.
• Desirable experience in waste management or refuse collection vehicle (RCV) operation.

• Base salary £39,835.85 per annum plus OTE up to £62,000.
