Class 2 HGV Driver – Milton Keynes

About the role

Keyline, part of the Travis Perkins Group, is hiring a permanent, full-time Class 2 HGV driver in Milton Keynes. The work is Monday to Friday only, with no weekends, evenings or overnight stays. You will move civils, heavy building materials and drainage solutions from branches to customers, with many local multi-drop deliveries and regular returns to the branch.

Key responsibilities

• Load the vehicle with a HIAB (lorry-mounted crane); training is fully funded if you do not yet hold the licence.
• Ensure loads are loaded safely, correctly and legally, and carry out vehicle checks before driving.
• Make multi-drop deliveries and return regularly to the branch to reload.
• Help with loading and unloading, and keep the vehicle clean and tidy.
• Prioritise safety and uphold professional standards.

Required profile

• Category C Class 2 driving licence.
• CPC (DQC card) up to date.
• Recent HGV driving experience; experience with a lorry loader/crane is an advantage but not required.
• Comfortable talking to customers and building relationships.
• Safety-conscious, professional and ambitious.
