About the role
We are seeking a reliable Class 2 driver to operate waste and recycling vehicles for a client in Salisbury. The position offers an immediate start, long‑term work and the potential to move from temporary to permanent employment.
Key responsibilities
- Drive waste and recycling vehicles safely, following pre‑planned routes.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
- Assist with loading the vehicle when required.
- Ensure the vehicle is unloaded, refuelled and ready for use the next day.
- Comply with all company health and safety policies.
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Maintain a flexible approach to working hours and assigned tasks.
Required profile
- Valid Class 2 driving licence.
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather.
- Flexible attitude towards hours and duties.
Required skills

- Pay rate of £15.50 per hour (basic).
