Class 2 HGV Driver

About the role

Travis Perkins, the UK's largest builders' merchant, is hiring a full-time, permanent Class 2 HGV driver in Salisbury. The role delivers building materials from the branch to local customers, with no evenings or overnights and 44.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday and every other Saturday.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver building materials from the branch to local customers safely and professionally.
• Load the vehicle with the HIAB, check that everything is properly packed and legal, then make around 14 drops a day.
• Reload at the branch when needed.

Required profile

• Class 2 driving licence, up-to-date CPC records and a Category B licence held for 12+ months.
• Confidence in building and developing customer relationships.
• Safety-first approach to every task.
• HIAB experience is not required; HIAB training is fully funded and arranged by the branch.
