Class 2 Service Driver – Healthcare Waste Collection

About the role

The Class 2 Service Driver will operate a soft‑compaction vehicle to collect offensive waste from healthcare and commercial sites across the Haydock area. You will follow a centrally planned route, ensuring safe and compliant waste handling while providing courteous customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Drive a soft‑compaction vehicle similar to a refuge collection vehicle.
• Empty and collect Euro Bins containing offensive waste.
• Complete digital and paper‑based compliance documentation for each collection.
• Return to the depot daily to unload collected waste.
• Adhere to centrally planned routes and schedules to maximise efficiency and safety.

Required profile

• Full UK Manual Driving Licence held for at least 12 months.
• Category C (LGV Class 2) licence.
• Current Driver CPC card and valid Digital Tachograph card.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points and no disqualifying endorsements in the last five years.
• Availability to work within a 6 am–6 pm window, 40 hours per week.
• Reliable, safety‑conscious and professional attitude with good attention to detail.
